What does this look like?

Whether you work outside your home, stay at home with your children, don’t have kids or somewhere in between, our lives are busy and pull us in many different directions.

My aim is to take on some of your less desired jobs within your home to allow you to give your energy to the more important aspects of your life.

Honesty from both parties, open communication, mutual respect are pillars of how I conduct my business. You can expect informal check-ins periodically to ensure we are both on the same page.

Below you will find specific task options, but the beauty of my work is it is flexible and customizable to your specific needs.

  • While I do not consider myself a "babysitter," I love having kids around, watching and caring for them!

    You will rarely see me sitting and playing with kids, as that is not my speciality. Instead, your children will be invited to help me with the day to day chores that honor both their place as a contributing member in your family and where they are developmentally.

    This looks like inviting kids to help me load the laundry, unload the dishwasher, cook dinner alongside me, but not forcing them. These tasks allow for building basic math, science, and language skills; fine motor skills development; and sequencing and pattern practice.

    If children are not interested in helping, no problem! Times of sustained, uninterrupted, independent play are really important to your child's development.

    Imaginative play, crafts and other activities (going to the park, etc) are definitely part of our day, however, not the main focus of my work.

    *Care with infants and babies looks more like traditional nannying.

    **No kids? No problem! We’ll customize my time to fit your needs.
